Ticket expiration

Ticket expiration

Within Company Settings, you have the option to set up the expiration period for your tickets per building, altering the extent of time it takes for a ticket to automatically close. By default, tickets do not expire. To learn how to set an expiration period, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Click on your initials on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, and go to Company Settings.

Step 2: Navigate to the tab "Setup," where you should see the options "Document templates" and "Ticket expiration." Click on "Ticket expiration."

Step 3: Within the Ticket expiration page, you will see the buildings available for selection, in addition to the filters Fund, Portfolio, and the search bar.

Step 4: To change the expiration period of each building individually, hover your mouse over the line item and click on "Change."

Step 5: A new window will pop up, where you can choose the number of days, weeks, months, or years before a ticket should expire. It is important to remember that existing tickets will be closed if they are older than the updated expiration period. Click on "Set expiration" to save your changes.

Step 6: If you want to set the same expiration period to multiple buildings, select the checkboxes on the left-hand side and click on "Set expiration period."

Step 7: You can choose the number of days, weeks, months, or years before the tickets belonging to the selected buildings should expire. Remember that existing tickets will be closed if they are older than the updated expiration period. Once you are ready to save your changes, click on "Set expiration."
