When creating a new bid room and requesting a new quote, if you need to add a contact while in a new tender or contract, follow the steps below:
Step 1: Click on "+ Create a new contact."
Step 2: Add the new contact's information. Ensure that the emails have the same domain (e.g., @companyname).
Step 3: Click on "Create," or "Create and add another" if you want to add more than one contact person.
If the domains do not match, the contacts will not be automatically linked to the company. This will result in creating multiple quote requests as if they were for different companies. In this case, navigate to the Companies section and manually link your contacts to the appropriate company, as described below.
Step 1: Hover your mouse over "General" on the left hand-side of your screen.
Step 2: Select "Companies."
Step 3: Navigate to the company you want to link the contact to.
Step 4: Click on "Link contacts."
Step 5: Choose between "Add existing contacts" or "Create a new contact"
Step 6: After saving, the contact will be automatically associated to the company.
