Asset details

Asset details

On the top right-hand corner, you should see the Edit button. Once you click on it, a side toolbar will appear with the following tabs:

Property details: contains the property details of an asset. Here, you can edit the basic information of an asset, such as name, property code, construction year and address.

Team:  contains the information of the team responsible for the asset including their roles.

Control & Occupancy: contains the control and the occupancy readings for this asset. In the example below, you can see that the asset is owned (not leased), and it has a single tenant. You can also see yearly occupancy readings that were added to this asset.

These readings save the date and occupancy rate, and they can be added by clicking on Add occupancy reading. Don't forget to save your changes before exiting this tab.
Spaces:
  1. The Leasable Space section allows you to divide your asset into multiple spaces, e.g. an office and a warehouse. For each space, you can add the name, select the type, floor, and the square meterage. By hovering over the line, you will see the garbage bin icon on the right-hand side which gives you the option to delete the space. You can add a new space using the Add Space button.
  1. The Common Areas is the section under which you can add common areas of the building, such as the reception.

The square meterage of all the spaces will determine the Gross Floor Area (GFA), which is calculated at the bottom left of the page. If the input adds up, you can click the Save button.

You can also set the property floors by clicking on Set property floors. Here is an example:

You can add floors by clicking on the 'Add floor' button at the bottom left of the screen, remove floors by clicking on the garbage bin icon that appears on the right-hand side when hovering over a line, and you can change its spot on the list by dragging it using the dotted icon on the left-hand side of the line.

The other attribute is Setting units. Within this section, you have the ability to add units to your building. If you want to add more units, click on the New unit button at the top right-hand side of the screen. Don't forget to save your changes.

Entity: this page contains the entity name, BCC, VAT and address. This information is important for tax purposes.

GL Accounts: in this field, you can fill in your GL-accounts.

Additional info: in this field, you can add important information about the asset.

Lifecycle events: any important events regarding the asset are saved in this section, such as bought (date the asset was purchased), initial construction (period during which the asset was originally built), appraised (date on which the asset was appraised), major renovation (period during which the site was renovated), and sold (date the asset was sold). For each event, a date and value are saved.
Settings: Lastly, in the settings you can choose the currency that will be set for the asset, which includes MJOBs, Projects, Contracts, etc.
