After unsealing and comparing the bids, you can start a Request for Approval (RFA) for the service provider you've selected for your project.
Upon initiating the RFA, a confirmation pop-up will appear. Make sure you have started the RFA for the quote you wish to approve as the winning bid. The parties will be notified about your choice at the end of the approval process.
In case you have made a mistake, you can click on "Reset approval flow" at any time to restore the approval flow.
The Request for Approval flow consists of five steps:
Step 1: Notify the winning bidder and choose whether or not the losing bidder should be notified.
Step 2: Review and edit the bid to ensure all details are correct.
Step 3: Set up the package for the approver(s), including asset and project details, personal comments or recommendations, documents, and project budget (overall and remainder).
Step 4: Select one or more people responsible for approving the project.
Step 5: Review the filed information and send it for approval.
If listed as one of the approvers, upon sending for approval, you will be asked to add a brief comment for the other approvers.
Once the RFA is approved by all responsible parties, you can start a contract. Learn more about starting a contract here.
