Create a new mandate workflow

Within Company Settings, you have the option to create Mandate workflows. This feature is only available for Admins. To access it, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Click on your initials on the bottom left-hand corner of the screen, and go to Company Settings.


Step 2: Navigate to the tab "Setup," and click on "Mandate Workflows."


Step 3: Click on "New workflow."


Step 4: To set up the workflow, add its name, subject, and description. 


The subject can be classified as "Project Contract," or "Project Contract Overrun." Learn more about the different options in this article.

Step 5: Add the number of approvals needed for a threshold, the maximum amount this role is allowed to instruct to a supplier without needing further approval, and which roles the rules apply to.



Please note that if a user is assigned to a role not mentioned in the Mandates workflow, that person's threshold will be zero. That means that users assigned to roles not mentioned in the flow will always have to ask for approval - even CompanyAdmins.

Step 6: You can continue without assigning buildings, or you can select to which buildings the threshold applies to. If you clicked on assign buildings in the previous step, you will be able to select the building(s) and proceed to review.


Step 7: Review and confirm if everything has been set up correctly.



Step 8: Save your workflow.
