There are two ways of creating a project in Proprli. Please learn more below.
Option 1: Create a project manually
Step 1: Select the asset where your project is going to take place.
Step 2: Go to the "Projects" tab.
Step 5: If ESG-related, check the box "ESG Project" and you’ll be able to select the type of project and where in the building it takes place; you will also have the ability to specify the objectives and the expected lifetime of the improvement, as seen in the screenshot below.
Step 6: Fill out the budget details, including total amount, code, type, GL account, and budget year.
Step 7: Choose the planned start and end dates.
Step 8: Click on "Complete."
Option 2: Create a project based on an existing LTMP
Step 1: Within the asset page, navigate to the tab "LTMP."
Step 2: Open the LTMP you want to create projects about, and select the line items.
Step 3: After selecting the line items, click on Actions and "Create new project from."
Step 4: A message will pop-up, containing how the item columns will be converted into a project. Click on "Ok, continue."
Step 5: Select the correct budget year, and click on "Continue."
Step 6: Before creating the project(s), you will be asked to review the information. If everything is set up correctly, click on "Confirm and create."
Step 7: You'll receive confirmation that the project was created successfully. Once done, the project line item will be available within the "Projects" tab.
