There are a couple of different ways you can approach managing the assets and projects your team members have access to. Learn more about them in this article.
Option 1: Grant access to Assets
Step 1: Click the icon with your initials at the bottom left-hand corner of your screen and go to Access Management.
Step 2: In order to grant access to assets, projects and tender requests, you should navigate to the Team tab, for internal colleagues, or to the External users tab.
Step 3: Hover your mouse over the user you want to make changes to, click on the three-dotted icon on the right-hand side, and select Edit building access.
Step 4: Within the Edit building access page, you have the ability to filter assets using the search bar and narrow down the search by Fund and/or Portfolio.
Step 5: Once you find and select the buildings, you will see two options: add and remove. If you want to make a building available, select it and click on Add; if you want to revoke that user's access to the asset, select it and click on Remove.
Step 6: Save your changes.
Once you have given the team member access to an asset, all projects and tenders from that asset will be available for them as well. If you want to limit someone's access to a building, you can manually adjust each project and tender to better fit the company's needs. Please find below a guide on how to grant access solely to a project.
Option 2: Grant access to Projects and Tender requests
Step 1: Within the Access Management page, navigate to the Team tab or External users tab.
Step 2: Hover your mouse over the user you want to make changes to, click on the three-dotted icon on the right-hand side, and select View user details.
Step 3: On the second tab, Buildings, click on the three-dotted icon on the right-hand side and click on Manage Projects.
Step 4: Once on the project manager page, you can use the toggle switch to grant or revoke access to projects and tenders. It's possible to act in bulk by using the "Grant access to all" switch, and you can also manage each project individually - if you want, the user can have access to the project but not to all tenders, for example. You can personalise the access as needed.
Step 5: There's no need to save: once you turn the toggle switch on or off, the user's access will be updated accordingly.
