Assign tenant to an asset



To learn how to assign a tenant to an asset, follow the steps below.

Step 1: Access the Buildings Dashboard
When you first access Proprli, navigate to the Buildings section on the left sidebar to access the Buildings Dashboard.

Step 2: Select a Building
From the Buildings Dashboard, select the building to which you want to add a tenant. Click on the building name (e.g., Alpha).



Step 3: Navigate to Tenants Tab
In the building's detail view, click on the Tenants tab to manage tenants for that building.



Step 5: Add New Tenant
In the Tenant management view, search for the tenant company you want to add. If the company is already in the system, select it from the list. If it's a new tenant, you will need to add it to the system first.



Step 6: Assign Contact Person
After adding the tenant, assign a contact person to the tenant company. Click on Set contact person(s) link next to the tenant company.



Step 7: Select a Contact Person 
You can only link an existing contact to the tenant company. Search for the contact person by name or email in the Set contact person(s) dropdown menu. Select the appropriate contact from the list and click Done to assign them to the tenant company.



Step 8: Verify Contact Person Assignment
The assigned contact person should now appear next to the tenant company in the Tenants tab. You can verify this by checking the contact list.
